BrewBird in the wild: What it can look like in your office

One of the most common questions we get isn't about the coffee. It's about the counter: where would BrewBird actually go?
We get it. Before changing anything about an office coffee program, you want to picture the whole setup: how much counter space it needs, what it sits beside, and whether it means giving up the espresso machine people already enjoy.
BrewBird is designed to fit into the coffee experience you already have, not ask you to rebuild it. In most offices, it replaces batch drip, sits alongside espresso, or lives on a compact standalone cabinet.
Below are four real BrewBird customer installations and what made each setup work.
A few basics
Brewer size | About 8 inches wide, 24 inches deep, and 20 inches tall. |
Power | A standard 110V / 15A outlet. |
Typical role | BrewBird usually replaces batch-drip carafes (wasteful, labor-intensive, inconsistent coffee) while espresso and milk-based equipment stay in place. |
Before install | We confirm placement, utilities, and clearances with your team or coffee-service partner. |
1. Alongside the espresso machine

Espresso and milk-based drinks stay in place; BrewBird replaces batch drip.
This is the setup we see most often. The espresso machine stays in place for lattes and cappuccinos, while BrewBird handles freshly brewed filter coffee.
It gives people an easy choice and helps keep the morning rush moving, without asking the office to give up a machine employees already enjoy. In many kitchens, BrewBird also takes the place of batch brewers, warming plates, and carafes.
2. As part of a larger coffee station

A mixed coffee station, with BrewBird and compost collection integrated into the existing setup.
BrewBird can also tuck into a more varied coffee counter. In this office, a bean-to-cup system, milk, syrups, and BrewBird all share the same station.
The brewer sits above a compost pullout, keeping compost collection close to where coffee is made and easy to fold into the office's regular cleaning routine.
3. A pair for busier floors

A two-brewer setup for a higher-traffic floor.
For busier floors, two BrewBird brewers let two people make coffee at the same time while keeping the station compact.
Not every office needs two. BrewBird's connected usage data shows when and where demand is highest, so teams can start with the simplest configuration that fits and add capacity where it is genuinely useful.
4. When counter space is tight

A compact standalone setup beside a Bevi (common setup).
Not every kitchen has an open stretch of counter. In those cases, BrewBird can live on a compact standalone cabinet beside a water station or elsewhere in the office.
A standalone station can also be a simple way to bring fresh coffee to a floor or common area that did not have it before, without rearranging the rest of the kitchen.
What the setup process looks like
Every office is a little different, so we keep the planning simple.
1 | Share a photo of the coffee area, expected daily use, and the equipment you want to keep. |
2 | We recommend placement and capacity, and confirm the machine requirements. |
3 | BrewBird or your coffee-service partner handles delivery, setup, monitoring, and service. |
The goal is not to redesign the kitchen. It is to make the coffee program fit the space and the way people already use it.
Thinking through your own space? Send us a photo of the coffee / microkitchen area and rough daily headcount. We would be happy to suggest a simple layout, or arrange a team tasting so you can see what feels right for your team. For offices that would rather experience BrewBird in place first, we can also talk through a pilot. Email mickey@brewbird.com |
